Quote of the Month... January

I love quotes, little succint phrases of inspiration that make me think, ' why, of course!'.  I think of them as my little Eureka moments ... but then I quite quickly forget about them too.  Sometimes I stick them on to mirrors or post it them on to my diary, but at the moment, while I'm in between homes and jobs I don't seem to have a good place for all the different ones that I have come across.  So, I have decided to pick one for each month of 2013 to live by, to inspire me and to make sure that I get the full use from it and appreciate it deeply and not just fleetingly.

I've always liked this quote, it sounds like a rallying cry and it makes me feel like a warrior; empowered, inspired and raring to go!  It also seems very appropriate for my decision to just do!  Stop thinking and pondering and just get on and do!  Now, where's my spear ...

Hello 2013!

As 2013 has dawned and I have had to say farewell to the most immense year ever (2012! see my other blog, http://wanderlustandotherstories.blogspot.co.uk/)  I've been puzzling on how to make sure this year is just as impressive. So what to do?

Well, depsite all the puzzling, I'm still not sure.  But rather than wallow in my indecisiveness, I am just going to do!

I am going to make things and do things and record them here!  For a while now, I've had a yearning for a place for all the things that I think are beautiful, so maybe I'll include those in this blog too.  This could be the beginning of my very own little e-zine.

Even though, I'm not sure where I'm going with this, I'll be having a lot of fun in my 'doing' process and I know from previous experience, that just the act of doing things differently will lead to different and interesting results.
